City-Wide Digital Transformation

"The local government of Iligan City under the initiative of mayor Frederick Siao is now on its stepping stone toward realizing the City-wide Digital Transformation as they held a discussion on the City-wide Digital Transformation Program together with all the IT and Liaison Focal persons from all Department presided by the City Administrator."

Tailored to the City’s business values, mission, and culture. This program's focal points are financial, budget, human resource, payroll, procurement, equipment, asset, and healthcare management systems. Having an integrated system, internal processes will be more efficient cutting down up to 80% of delays in processing compared to manual. This will improve the lives of Iliganons as it will be providing efficient public service through the use of technology starting from inter-office digitalization. Then finally cover all industry sectors

With this initiative, the government will gain tremendous benefits from City-wide Digital transformation. Here are some ways digitization of processes and services can positively affect governmental organizations and the public:
